Itihasapurana Festival Bundle
This bundle brings together four research based books that trace one story: what Bharat endured, how it resisted, how society organised itself, and how a nation must be governed.
The four books
The Eternal Struggle: Hindu Civilization Through Siege and Survival
A chronicle of more than 1,400 years of challenge, persecution, destruction, survival and resilience. It covers what was endured, what was lost, and what Sanatana Dharma preserved through centuries of upheaval.
Shastra and Shaastra: The Weapon and the Wisdom, Armed Defenders and Revolutionaries of Bharat, 712-1947
216 stories of kings, queens, warriors, saints, tribal leaders, rebels, revolutionaries and freedom fighters who defended land, dignity, Dharma and society. It tells the story of those who chose courage when resistance became necessary.
Sangh: 108 Facets of the RSS
108 short chapters covering the history, philosophy, shakha tradition, service activities and social work of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. It looks at how organised, voluntary work contributes to community life and nation building.
Arthashastra: The Wisdom We Forgot and the Nation We Must Build
A modern introduction to Kautilya's Arthashastra, following its original fifteen book structure. Sanskrit verses appear with translations and plain language explanations of Bharat's tradition of governance, administration, law, economics, diplomacy, intelligence, defence and statecraft.
How the books connect
The Eternal Struggle asks readers to remember. Shastra and Shaastra asks them to honour courage. Sangh: 108 Facets of the RSS looks at organisation and service. Arthashastra looks at governance and nation building.
Read in order, they move from civilizational memory, to resistance and courage, to social organisation, to governance and statecraft.
Why this bundle
The four books are built around four questions:
- What happened to Bharat's civilization?
- Who stood up to protect it?
- How does a society organise itself for service and continuity?
- How should a strong, responsible nation be governed?
Who it's for
Teenagers, youth, parents, teachers, students, civil services aspirants, libraries, schools, temples, satsangams, heritage organisations, and readers interested in Bharat's history, Dharma, public life and nation building.
Four books, one journey from memory to responsibility.
